District 58 teachers earn grants from DG Woman's Club

The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club proudly awarded nearly $10,000 in grants to 18 teachers and staff representing 15 schools in Districts 58 and 99. A record 57 applications were received, reflecting the dedication of so many educators who want to provide for their students.   • Terri La Vie (Hillcrest) - Adjustable desks
  • Mary Loversky (El Sierra) - Library books
  • Lara Marlowe (Indian Trail) - SEL book kit and emotional stuffed animal 
  • Kristine Marquez (El Sierra) - Multisensory tools
  • Robyn Panico and Keri Bernhard (O’Neill Middle School) - Large print books 
  • Janet Peters (Indian Trail) - Phonics booklets
  • Alecia Probst and Darcy Pellicano (Grove Preschool) - Gross motor equipment
