New Student Registration: New students can register for the 2020-21 school year online beginning Monday, May 4! Please see the “New Student Registration” section below to learn more.

Returning Student Registration: The returning student registration window took place April 14-May 1. Miss the deadline? We will continue to keep the registration portal open, and we encourage you to complete registration as soon as possible. Please reference the registration email you received with your child’s unique snapcode to start the process. If you need help or a paper registration packet, please contact your school. New Student Registration:

Welcome to District 58! All new students, including current Grove Children’s Preschool students who will enter kindergarten next school year, may register online through this portal. Please follow the instructions below to start the online registration process. If you have additional questions, please visit our Registration FAQ page.

  1. Go to District 58’s secure New Student Registration Portal. (Español: Visite el sitio web seguro de Inscripción de Nuevos Estudiantes en Español.)
  2. If you do not have a District 58 PowerSchool registration account, please click on “Create Account” and fill out a short form.
  3. Sign in to your registration account and fill out the introductory information beneath “Add Student.”
  4. Complete the registration process! The registration system will guide you through the steps and inform you of any additional information you will need to provide your school in paper format.
  5. After you submit your child’s registration, you will receive a copy of his or her registration. You will also see a checklist of forms and documents you may still need to submit, via paper, to your child’s school by mail or in person after school offices re-open.
  6. After your registration processes, you will receive a fee invoice from PushCoin, District 58’s student fee provider. All fees are due by the first day of school. However, if your child will enter kindergarten and you would like to enroll him or her in the Optional Kindergarten Enrichment and Enhancement Program, your first payment is due immediately to secure placement in the program. While we encourage families to pay fees using PushCoin, if you prefer to pay by check, please send a check to:

Additional Information for Kindergarten: District 58 hosts Kindergarten Roundups< each spring to orient incoming kindergarten parents with their child’s future school, teachers, principal and curriculum. Many Kindergarten Roundups were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While it cannot replace an in-person experience, incoming kindergarten parents may visit to access helpful resources and information. Schools will also share school-specific kindergarten information with families.

Some incoming kindergarteners may already be registered, particularly if your school hosted an early Kindergarten Roundup before the quarantine, or if you previously submitted all registration paperwork. Your school’s secretary will email you if your kindergarten registration is already complete.

Returning Student Registration:

The returning student registration window was April 14-May 1, although the registration portal will remain open beyond May 1. District 58 emailed parents of returning students a unique registration snapcode URL link for each child on Tuesday, April 14.

If you lost or did not receive the April 14 email with your child’s snapcode URL link, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact your school office or Maria Velez (Technology Department) at or 630-719-2768 to retrieve your 15-digit snapcode.
  2. Please visit the Registration Portal (Español) and enter your snapcode.

Please note: School offices are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While voicemail messages are being forwarded to school principals and secretaries, the response time may be longer than usual.

Returning families, please register your child by Friday, May 1. All student fees must be paid in the PushCoin online payment portal or by mailing a check to:

If you pay online, you will receive an invoice from PushCoin once your student’s profile has been updated for the 2020-21 school year. New this year: Families will no longer be assessed a service charge for paying fees online with PushCoin. All fees must be paid by the first day of school.

If you cannot register your child online, you may download paper registration forms from your school’s website. Please navigate to and hover over the “Schools” menu and select your school. From there click the “Registration” tab. You may also directly contact your child’s school to request paper registration forms be mailed to you. Please complete the forms and mail them to the school office or drop them off after school offices reopen.
