2021-22 registration for new and returning students will open on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. This page is currently under construction as we prepare for 2021-22 registration.

2021-22 Registration Information

New Student Registration: New students can register for the 2021-22 school year starting Tuesday, April 13. We will post the registration link on this page on April 13. New students may register online or in person.

Returning Student Registration: Returning student registration for the 2021-22 school year will take place from Tuesday, April 13 through Friday, April 30. We will post the registration portal link on this page on April 13. 2021-22 New Student Registration:

Welcome to District 58! All new students, including current Grove Children’s Preschool students who will enter kindergarten next school year, may register online through this portal. Starting Tuesday, April 13, you may follow the instructions below to start the online registration process. If you have additional questions, please visit our Registration FAQ page.

  1. Go to District 58’s secure New Student Registration Portal (link to be added on April 13 -- you cannot complete the below steps until April 13).
  2. If you do not have a District 58 PowerSchool registration account, please click on “Create Account” and fill out a short form.
  3. Sign in to your registration account and fill out the introductory information beneath “Add Student.”
  4. Complete the registration process! The registration system will guide you through the steps and inform you of any additional information you will need to provide your school in paper format.
  5. After you submit your child’s registration, you will receive a copy of his or her registration. You will also see a checklist of forms and documents you may still need to submit, via paper, to your child’s school by mail or in person after school offices re-open.
  6. After your registration processes, you will receive a fee invoice from PushCoin, District 58’s student fee provider. All fees are due by the first day of school. However, if your child will enter kindergarten and you would like to enroll him or her in the Optional Kindergarten Enrichment and Enhancement Program, your first payment is due immediately to secure placement in the program. While we encourage families to pay fees using PushCoin, if you prefer to pay by check, please send a check to:

Additional Information for Kindergarten: District 58 hosts Kindergarten Roundups each spring to orient incoming kindergarten parents with their child’s future school, teachers, principal and curriculum. 2021-22 Kindergarten Roundups will take place later this spring, and we will announce a schedule soon. Please visit for helpful kindergarten information. Schools will also share school-specific kindergarten information with families.

At this time, District 58 does not know if its Optional Kindergarten Enrichment and Enhancement Program (OKEEP) will take place during the 2021-22 school year. OKEEP is an afternoon program that extends the morning half day kindergarten school day. When a decision regarding OKEEP can be made, we will promptly communicate it.

2021-22 Returning Student Registration:

Returning student registration will take place from Tuesday, April 13 through Friday, April 30. Returning families will receive a registration email on April 13, and we will update this page with more information on April 13.

After completing registration, all student fees must be paid in the PushCoin online payment portal or by mailing a check to:

If you pay online, you will receive an invoice from PushCoin once your student’s profile has been updated for the 2021-22 school year. Families will not be assessed a service charge for paying fees online with PushCoin. All fees must be paid by the first day of school.

If you cannot register your child online, you may download paper registration forms from your school’s website, starting April 13.  Please navigate to and hover over the “Schools” menu and select your school. From there click the “Registration” tab. You may also directly contact your child’s school to request paper registration forms be mailed to you. Please complete the forms and mail them to the school office or drop them off in person. Parents of incoming seventh graders should contact the middle school where their child will attend next year for paper forms. Herrick’s number is 630-719-5810, and O’Neill’s number is 630-719-5815.
