District 58 invites all students in grades 1–6 to participate in this year’s Science Fair on Saturday, January 24, from 8:00–11:00 a.m. at O'Neill Middle School! Registration will be open from December 1 through December 19. Participation is voluntary, but we encourage every student to join the fun and share their curiosity for science!

The Nov. 19 edition of Communicate 58 was published today, with winter weather reminders, celebrations of our support staff and substitutes, Illinois Report Card highlights, and more District 58 news.

On November 11, students and staff across District 58 came together to honor our nation’s veterans. Through assemblies, songs, artwork, and classroom activities, students reflected on the bravery and sacrifices of those who have served our country.

The November 10, 2025 Board of Education Regular Meeting included a Spotlight on El Sierra School and presentations on the Illinois Report Card, Referendum Construction updates, and Tax Levy recommendation.
