Fairmount fifth grader Ella worked hard to raise money and awareness for children’s cancer research. She recently gave short speeches about her fundraising mission to Fairmount’s intermediate classrooms. Last Friday, Ella and her classmate and fellow-fundraiser, Dominic, shaved their heads during the Fairmount PTA’s Family Bingo Night. In total, Ella and Dominic raised nearly $4,000, all which will support the St. Baldrick Foundation. Great work!
