The Illinois PTA has selected 23 art projects from the Downers Grove Area Council of PTAs to advance to the State level of the PTA Reflections Art Program.
Through Reflections, students in grades Kindergarten through Grade 8 are invited to submit original works of art inspired by this year’s theme, “I Belong,” in one of six areas of art: visual art, photography, dance, music, film, or literature. Reflections is a national PTA program that encourages students to explore their thoughts and creativity, build artistic skills, and boost confidence through the arts.
The National PTA Reflections winners will be announced on May 1.
