This holiday season, show your appreciation for a special teacher or staff member by making a donation to the Green Apple Teacher/Staff Recognition Program, hosted by the Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58.
With each Green Apple donation:
- The honored teacher or staff member will receive a specially-designed Green Apple Award certificate with your custom message. The amount of your donation will remain confidential.
- Superintendent Dr. Kevin Russell and/or the building principal will hand-deliver the award.
- The staff member will also be recognized on District 58’s social media.
All donations directly support District 58 students through programs like: Teacher Grants, Distinguished Service Awards, Select 58, Sneak Preview, New Teacher Luncheon, The Reading Games, and more!
How do I send a Green Apple Award?
- Visit the Education Foundation’s website: www.58foundation.org
- Click “Send a Green Apple” in the top banner
- Complete the Green Apple form and click submit.
- You will receive an email and text with instructions to complete your donation securely via credit/debit card, checking account, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
While the Green Apple Program is open year-round, donations submitted by Friday, Dec. 12 will ensure your award is delivered before winter break.
