Staff at Herrick and O'Neill middle schools had an unforgettable start to the 2025-26 school year thanks to a generous surprise from community partners Office Depot and Boise Paper, who donated a shopping spree to help staff gather the supplies they need for a successful year.
The event was made possible by the Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58, who coordinated and ensured staff could enjoy the experience. Local media, including @NBCChicago, helped share the story, highlighting the incredible support from the community.
