Proceeds will benefit the Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58
The Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 will host the 12th Annual Oktoberfest on Friday, Sept. 12 (4:30-11 p.m.) and Saturday, Sept. 13 (11 a.m.-11 p.m.) in the parking lot on Burlington Avenue between Main Street and Forest Avenue. Rain or shine, music plays all day & night! Covered stage and large tents. The event will feature live music, Kids Zone, and Authentic Oktoberfest Fare in a Traditional German atmosphere!
Friday Night entertainment features Anchors Away (Yacht Rock) and Grammy Award-winning Gipsy Kings with "Nicolas Reyes." Saturday Night entertainment includes Fuze (a tribute to Santana) and Heart to Heartbreaker (featuring music of Heart and Pat Benatar), and the Lounge Puppets (arena rockers and classic favorites). This event is the Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58’s largest fundraiser, and all proceeds will support the foundation’s programs for District 58 students and staff.
