The District 58 Board of Education will hold a Regular Business Meeting on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Downers Grove Civic Center, 850 Curtiss St., Downers Grove, IL 60515. The public may also view the meeting remotely, via the Village of Downers Grove’s YouTube account.
The agenda covers many topics, including:
- A spotlight on District 58’s summer construction projects at our schools.
- A recommendation to approve a first reading of draft Policy 7:250, Student Support Services, which further implements new legislation regarding students who are parents, expectant parents, or victims of domestic or sexual violence.
- A recommendation to adopt Board policy updates from PRESS Issue 118.
- A recommendation to approve the District 58 Consolidated District Plan for the 2025-2026 school year.
- A recommendation to approve the continued implementation of Professional learning Mondays during the 2025-2026 school year.
- A recommendation to approve a bid for waste removal and recycle services.
- A recommendation to approve early order equipment purchases for Phase III construction schools.
- A recommendation to approve the plan review and third-party inspections for kitchen infrastructure for Phase III and Phase I construction schools.
- A recommendation to approve the purchase middle school choral risers.
