The District 58 Board of Education will hold a Regular Business Meeting on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at 7 p.m. at Downers Grove Village Hall. The public may also view the meeting remotely, via the Village of Downers Grove’s YouTube page. After the meeting has concluded, the Village will process the video and send it to District 58 to be posted on the District’s YouTube channel.

- A Spotlight on our Schools: Winter Data Snapshot
- A report on the Jan. 10 Legislative Committee and Feb. 2 Legislative Breakfast
- A report on the Jan. 12 Financial Advisory Committee
- A report on the Feb. 5 Health & Wellness Committee
- A monthly report on SASED
- A recommendation to approve two Project Authorization Agreements prior to the commencement of work at Herrick and O’Neill middle schools
- A recommendation to approve policy updates as noted in Illinois Association of School Board’s PRESS Issue 113
- A recommendation to declare no longer needed equipment as surplus in order to sell the equipment
- A recommendation to approve playground equipment purchase for Whittier, which will be paid for through state grants with supplemental funds from the PTA for site renovation and the District for engineering

How to make a public comment during the meeting:
The Board encourages public comment from the community. There will be an opportunity for in-person visitors to make a public comment. Members of the public may communicate with the Board at any time by emailing boe@dg58.org.
