COVID-19 vaccine clinic for ages 5+ will take place Nov. 21 and Dec. 12

covid vaccine clinic

Dear District 58 Community,

The FDA and CDC has approved emergency use of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. District 58 has received several family requests for a school district-organized vaccine clinic, and we are proud to partner once again with Kodocare Pharmacy, District 99 and District 99’s other feeder districts to offer an opportunity this fall! This is an optional clinic open to any community member; at this time, there is no COVID-19 vaccine mandate for children.

The District 99 COVID-19 Community Vaccine Clinic will take place on Sunday, Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Downers Grove North High School Learning Commons at 4436 Main St. Please use the Main Street entrance. The second dose will be offered on Sunday, Dec. 12 during the same timeframe and location.

The following vaccinations will be available at the Nov. 21 clinic:

  • COVID-19 first dose: ages 5-11
  • COVID-19 first dose: ages 12 & up
  • COVID-19 boosters & third dose
  • Flu: can get both vaccines in one visit

Vaccinations are by appointment only on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may register yourself and your family members for a vaccine. Community members will not be denied a vaccination for lack of insurance.
