Celebrated Authors Visit District 58 for Annual Author Fest

District 58 elementary schools welcomed authors Matt Eicheldinger, Maddie Frost, and Dev Petty for Author Fest 2026, held April 22–24. Students across the District took part in engaging presentations and interactive activities, exploring the writing and illustration process while connecting directly with the authors and discovering new inspiration for their own ideas. The experience sparked creativity and encouraged a deeper love of reading, writing, and storytelling.
