STUDENT ATHLETICS
Middle School Athletics & Activities Participation Fees: As part of the new 6–8 middle school model, the District has expanded athletics, activities, and co-curricular music opportunities for students in grades 6–8. On August 10, 2026, the Board approved middle school participation fees to offset a portion of the cost of these expanded offerings and help us keep opportunities accessible to students and families.
- Participation fees apply only to the offerings listed below. Families will receive an invoice through PushCoin after their student joins a fee-based activity. Families who may qualify for financial assistance are encouraged to submit a fee waiver form (see information below).
- $50 per student — Cut sports and activities: Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, and Cheerleading
- $25 per student — Non-cut sports, activities, and co-curricular music: Cross-Country, Track and Field, Wrestling, Chess, Scholastic Bowl, Jazz Band, Chamber Strings, and Chamber Choir/OMS Singers
- For more information about student fees and fee waivers, please see the Student Fees page.
The fitness room will be open on the following dates from 3:25-4:00 p.m. If you take the bus, you will be dismissed at the appropriate time. You need to be changing out of your street clothes. Please see Mr. Moore or Ms. Reitsma with any questions.
