End of Year Family Party!
It’s hard to believe it’s almost the end of the 2025 school year! We invite all families to come May 18 from 4 to 6 pm outside at Highland. Come enjoy face painting, balloon artists that can make your favorite balloon, snacks/ice cream, music, and outdoor activities for your family! Please sign up with the following link to help before, during, or after! Thank you!
One of events that all of our students and staff look forward to the most through-out the year is Field Day! We are very grateful that the Highland PTA sponsors this event each year, and for the many volunteers that make this day possible.
Each year we honor a select number of Highland students in fourth through sixth grade at our annual Highland Awards Ceremony. Our Highland Awards Ceremony is schedule for Friday, May 23rd. The ceremony will be held in the Highland gym and begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Families of those students in fourth and fifth grade who are receiving an award are invited to attend, and all sixth grade families are invited to attend. Shortly after our Awards Ceremony, we will begin our annual Sixth Grade Promotion.
Fifth Grade Promotion is an opportunity for us to recognize all of our fifth-grader's hard work, and celebrate their upcoming transition to middle school. Following Fifth Grade Promotion, parents will be invited back to the fifth grade classrooms to take photos and celebrate the end of the year. At 10:00 a.m., parents of students who will be receiving awards are invited to attend the annual Awards Ceremony. Due to space constraints, each fifth grade student may have two adults attend the Award Ceremony and 5th Grade Promotion.
Sixth Grade Promotion is an opportunity for us to reecongize all of our sixth-grader's hard work, and celebrate their upcoming transition to middle school. Following Sixth Grade Promotion, parents will be invited back to the sixth grader classrooms to take photos and celebrate the end of the year. At 11:30 a.m., parents will be directed to the field outside door 2 to participate in our end of the year clap out. Due to space constraints, each sixth grade student may have two adults attend the Award Ceremony and 6th Grade Promotion.
We hope to see all of our Highland families on the last day of school for our annual clap out! Due to a limited amount of parking at Highland, we ask that any families that are able to walk to the clap out, please do so. Please do not park in the Highland bus turnaround or the church parking lot.
