  This is a recorded message from the principal of Herrick Middle School, Jason Lynde.  I am encouraging parents to take a look at the online grade portal to see the final grades for the 2nd quarter.  As a reminder, report cards are officially mailed out for the first and fourth quarters only.  If you would like a paper copy, please contact our main office.  Also, on Friday, we will be celebrating the Super Bowl with Super Bowl Sundaes on sale at lunch for $1.25.  Thank you very much!

(12/23/11) A Note From The Principal...

To The Herrick Family,

I hope that everyone is looking forward to an exciting winter at Herrick Middle School!  When students return from winter break, we will still have 3 full weeks before the end of the second quarter on January 20th.  This means that there is plenty of time for students to put forth maximum effort to finish the second quarter strong! 

Additionally, there is a lot to be excited about this winter athletically.  Our basketball teams are moving in a positive direction.  We hope that students continue to come out to support our hard-working teams.  Keep in mind that girls' basketball and boys' volleyball are also right around the corner.  If the winter weather ever arrives, our seventh graders will be enjoying some cross-country skiing in PE classes.

Speaking of winter weather... please encourage your child to dress for the weather.  While wearing a hat, gloves, and scarf may not be "cool" to some... it sure beats being cold!  As always, thank you for your support!

Dance & Etiquette Class For 8th Graders

Herrick's PTA will be offering a dance & etiquette class again this spring.  The dates for this popular event are: April 20, April 26, May 4, May 11, and May 18.  The classes take place at Herrick in the evening.  The fee for this program will be $40.  More information will be coming out soon.
