From The Principal:

Thank you for visiting the Belle Aire School webpage. Belle Aire is one of eleven District #58 elementary schools that focus on academic education as well as social and emotional development of our students. Belle Aire houses kindergarten through sixth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 260 students. Downers Grove Grade School District #58 embraces the neighborhood school concept and Belle Aire practices combination classes at different grade levels.

The teachers at Belle Aire are highly qualified, dedicated professionals. They work hard to ensure a very positive and supportive educational environment for our children. We have an excellent curriculum for reading, math, writing, science, and social studies. In addition to these core subjects we offer physical education, music, art, English as a Second Language, social work and special education services. We also offer intramural sports throughout the year along with Care and Share Club.

Another incredibly important part of our school is the Belle Aire PTA. These adult volunteers spend countless hours working on behalf of and along with our students. The PTA supports the Belle Aire children by funding field trips, technology and many other programs for children. Please consider joining our PTA and getting involved with this very special group.
