Grove Children’s Preschool Application Information 2026-27

When do applications open and is there a fee to apply?

Applications for 2026-27 open on Wednesday, February 18 at 8 a.m. at www.dg58.org/preschool. Please note that there is a $50 non-refundable application fee. Please click here to pay the application fee. (Click the "Make a one-time payment button".)

What is the application due date?

The deadline for application sorting is Wednesday, March 18.  Any returning students or siblings who are new to the program have until that date to receive priority. Application priority is given in this order:

• First priority: Current Grove Children's Preschool students
• Second priority: Siblings of current Grove Children's Preschool students
• Third priority: New students with no current connections 

What is the cost of the tuition program?

The 2026-27 cost is $4,656. Tuition is broken down into monthly payments and charged via PushCoin. The first payment is due September 1. 

What if I cannot afford the tuition for Grove Children's Preschool?

Grove Children's Preschool comprises three groups of students:

• General education students who pay tuition to attend the program
• General education students who participate in the developmental screening process and qualify for free tuition through the Preschool for All grant program
• Students who participate in the developmental screening process and are identified as needing special education services; they also receive free tuition.

If you believe your child may qualify to attend Grove Children's Preschool for free through the developmental screening process, please set up a screening. Students who qualify for free tuition through the screening process are not required to pay the application fee as well.

When will I know if my child has been accepted into the program?

Letters to families indicating acceptance or waitlist status will be sent via email on March 26.

If we are accepted into the program, when will registration be due? 

Registration information will be included in the acceptance email. In order to finalize your enrollment and spot in the program, registration needs to be completed by April 13.

What happens if I do not turn my registration on time?

Your spot will be given to someone on our waitlist and your name will be placed at the bottom of that list. After the deadline, any waitlist student who has been offered a spot will have two weeks to complete registration and payment to maintain a spot in Grove Children’s Preschool. 

What do I need to complete registration? 

You will need your child’s birth certificate, three proofs of residency, and the other forms that will be included in your acceptance packet. If possible, we ask that we have a current physical exam form completed for your child by registration.

When is tuition due? 

Tuition is due on the first of every month starting September 1, 2026. 

How do I pay tuition?
Preschool families pay tuition through the PushCoin system. More details on preschool payments are shared after acceptance into the preschool program.
