SNAC is a class that focuses on social and communication concepts and skills.  It help to strengthen and improve the processes by which young people and adults acquire knowledge, attitudes and skills to successfully interact with others.  It also focuses on fostering the development of life skills, including financial literacy, understanding the basics of banking, job search and interview skills, and career exploration.  There are additional mini-lessons that may include Internet safety as it pertains to social networking sites, how internet sites can collect data and tailor searches based on previous searches, the reality of credit card interest charges, and college options and exploration.
