The “Power of One” took center stage at Whittier School Oct. 27.
During a PTA-sponsored assembly, Whittier students learned about the different roles in a bullying scenario – bully, target and bystander. They saw how each and every student can help stop bullying by telling a trusted adult when they see it happening.
The assembly, presented by Soren Bennick Productions, supported District 58’s goal of teaching social and emotional learning skills to students.
