It is 449 BC. The Acropolis has undergone a major face change in celebration of the recently achieved peace between Athens and Persia. However, the reconstruction has been an expensive undertaking. Taxes have been used to help fund the transformation, and citizens are starting to ask questions. They are particularly curious about a temple called the Parthenon.

Pericles is a man who enjoys a good debate, but he's getting tired of repeating himself. Therefore, he summoned Zeus, who has come to you, a respected journalist, for some support. He asks you to publish a detailed description of the Parthenon, including how it was actually constructed and the religious significance and importance of this great building, in hopes that this information will stop the flood of questions overwhelming him.
