A rumor has leaked out from the acropolis that the new Athenian leader, the Morganator, plans to cancel the Olympic Games, feeling they are a frivolous waste of time. Thunderbolts fly wildly from Zeus upon hearing this news- the Olympics are a festival to honor him, after all!

Enraged, Zeus sends you on a task he views as extremely important. Your task is as simple as it is complex- you must stop the Morganator!

Being a new leader, the Morganator must not know the true importance of the Olympics. You realize it's your job to educate him. Writing him a letter persuading him to keep the Olympic Games is your only solution.

Be sure to include a brief history and a description of the importance of the Olympics to the Greek culture. Also, provide a commentary on the events that take place during the Olympics and how citizens from each city-state behave during the games. You might even wish to interview a famous athlete of our time to strengthen your argument. Anything to convince the Morganator that he is wrong... or you'll suffer the wrath of an angry Zeus!
