"You, young boy!" Zeus bellows. Timidly, you step forward.
"I have many children, both mortal, like yourself, and immortal, like me. However, I feel distant from my mortal children... in fact, it's hard to keep track of them." Are you imagining it, or did a small tear fall down his cheek?
Composing himself in his Godly manner, Zeus continues. "I want to know about my many children. They don't write often, and I feel I don't know them. They come from all city states, and I know they learn different things in their youth. Can you help me?"
Not daring to say no to the mighty Zeus, you accept his assignment. He tells you that he wants to know what children's lives are like in Athens and Sparta, for that is where most of his children live. He also wants to know what all children learn, both male and female, and what they do for fun.
