Spring DanceFormal attire is not
recommended. Attire should be casual, but nice.
Recommended attire for girls is a simple dress, skirt and blouse, or
slacks and a blouse. Suggested attire for boys is Docker type
pants and open collared shirt or button down shirt.The dance begins at 7:00pm and ends at 9:00pm. Parents be at school at 9:00pm to pick your child up at the conclusion of the dance. 8th Grade Trip to Great AmericaThe trip to Great America in Gurnee,
Illinois is a special privilege offered to our eighth grade
students. The trip is sponsored by and partially
underwritten by Herrick Middle School and the Herrick PTA. Students return home at 6:15pm we ask parents to be at school to pick their children up.
Promotion CeremonyEighth grade promotion ceremony will
begin at 7 pm at Downers Grove North High School in the Purple
Gym. Students need to be seated in their assigned seats by 6:50
pm. Each eighth grade student's family will receive four tickets
for the ceremony. The tickets will be mailed home with 3rd
trimester progress reports.
