The Pierce Downer student council helps to lead the school in a number of service projects throughout the year. During the month of December, the student council organized a school-wide food drive. Students in all classes were encouraged to donate nonperishable food items. Donated food was given to the Downers Grove Area FISH Food Pantry, which provides free food and a variety of emergency social services to those in need.
