The Herrick Chamber Choir brought beautiful music and holiday joy to a variety of locations in and around Downers Grove on December 14.
The ensemble performed a variety of holiday tunes at two retirement communities – The Birches in Clarendon Hills and Peace Memorial Manor in Downers Grove – and at Lester and Pierce Downer schools before ending their day with a concert back at Herrick. Audience members were encouraged to sing along with several of the numbers.
The audition-based ensemble of approximately two dozen students rehearses twice a week at 7 a.m.
