District invites parents to take the
School Environment Survey
Parent survey is open from Nov. 28-Dec. 5
Parents, please consider taking District 58's annual School Environment Survey now through Friday, Dec. 16. 

This survey should take just a few minutes, yet the valuable input you provide will help guide the work of our principals, teachers and district administrators as they plan school improvement efforts.  All responses are anonymous. Parents received an email with detailed information regarding the parent and student surveys on Monday, Nov. 28. Learn more information at www.dg58.org/parents.

    Does your child need help with his or her Science Fair project? Come to the Downers Grove Public Library on Wednesday, Nov. 30 for the Science Fair Expo! District 99 students and science teachers will be available to answer your child’s questions, provide feedback and help brainstorm project ideas! The Science Fair Expo will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for students in grades 1-4, and from 7:30-8:30 p.m. for students in grades 5-8.

    Calling all young scientists! Downers Grove Grade School District 58 seeks curious students to conduct creative experiments and present their discoveries at the 36th Annual Science Fair! Science Fair registration runs from Wednesday, Nov. 9 through Friday, Dec. 16.

  • Bonfield Express donates $13,000 to District 58

    District 58 thanks the Bonfield Express Foundation, a local charity, for donating $1,000 to each of its 13 schools this fall. The Bonfield Express Foundation made this donation to help the District recognize students who demonstrate a love of learning, extra effort and/or good citizenship.
